Brandy Seymour
Actor, Poet, and Writer
Brandy's acting career began back in 1996 when
she responded to a call for auditions at Innerphase Video in Lancaster,
Ohio. On her first audition she landed the part of Dorothy of the
Wizard of Oz. Ms. Seymour has gone onto complete several more local
commercial spots as well as voice/over work with Innerphase Video
Productions, Shire Media, and other Columbus production houses.
She has also appeared on Channel 21, and the Discovery Channel on
the crime series Prosecutor's 18.
Ms. Seymour has also performed in the films “Waiting”
directed by Micah Jenkins, “Off the Air” directed by
Francesco Lazzaro, “Always Late” with the 48 Hour Film
Project, “Buttermilk & Cigarettes” produced by Klown
Films, “Let’s Scare Niki to Death” directed by
Alex Pucci, “A Thousand Words” directed by Justin Lewis
of Tempered Zealot, as well as “Grudge Match,” and “Confessions
directed by Derek Rimelspach.
Most recently Brandy has performed the role of Yvette in the feature
length motion picture Horrors of War produced by Tony Kandah of
Hollywood Wizard. She has also worked with Sonnyboo Productions
and the cast members of the Second City Cleveland making a series
of comedic shorts. Brandy has appeared in "Therapy Group",
"Gratuity", "License Exam", and "Bachelorette
Party". Other works with Sonnyboo include "Vote NO Mayor
McCheese" and "Concupiscence".
Brandy has also performed live in Los Angeles, California in "Life?"
and "The Silver Horseshoe." Prior to working in L.A.,
Ms. Seymour worked in Columbus, Ohio with The Tanglefoot traveling
theater troupe as well as ByTash Productions doing some improvisational
work.
